Question / Help OBS Studio Recorded Weirdest Audio

So my friend and I decided to hit up some gaming and I decided to record it. The audio turned out high-pitched and choppy - you can't understand anything, and I attempted to upload a five-second clip; however, it is too big at... 1.5MB...? This is not the first time this has happened; in fact, I've had this strange occurrence happen on two different computers! It happens randomly. I have never changed a setting before the recordings that this has happened upon. Log file is attached.

Didn't know community support was this bad - 70 views and not a single answer... Looks like I may need to begin searching for a different screen recording software...

Okay, I went ahead and checked that out. Is there any way to repair the audio from the recording? I may be able to attach a sample of it in a zip later. I just need to find a good spot with a lot of talking.

AAC is not installed by default because of licensing issues. Installing them can help improve quality, but this problem is not caused by their absence.

High pitched and stuttering audio is often a sample rate mismatch between OBS and your audio devices.

Check OBS' audio settings for the sample rate (44.1 or 48khz) and then check the settings for your audio devices in Windows and make sure the two settings match.

I found a good spot in the middle of the recording when me and my friend decided to start a video within a video. A sample of the audio is attached. I have found that if you import the audio into Audacity and change the pitch by approximately -50, you can make out what I'm saying whilst still having a lot of choppiness. So with the sample file uploaded, does anyone think it is possible to recover the audio automatically?

I found one way to kind of fix it, but I still want to know if it's possible to fix the audio.
