Question / Help OBS Studio: Random little noises in high pitched audio

Hello:

I'm trying to record a series of videos to upload in Youtube but I got a problem in the game audio.

In some games where the audio is too high pitched, like RPG characters speech o Mario World's intro, I found a kind of random little noises in the game's audio track. Here is a sample: https://youtu.be/HqbrW9EJT2M

This only happens in audio recording, not in the game.

Can you tell me why is this happening? Is there any fix for that?

Thanks.

Wow, with such big number of frames encoded

Total encoded frames: 1364900537

you remind me this thread: Encoded frames making no sense?

About the sound, I think this is on-board audio card issue (maybe not enough resources or so). Try to make videos with no frame drop (lower setting or use hw encoder, if any: Encoding Overload even with i7 at 720p?). Try to lower audio bitrate in OBS Studio. Try to setup 16-bit stereo format audio at Windows Playback devices properties (if possible).

You can try to install CoreAudio as well (if that not works then you can uninstall it), it may run better for some PCs: https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/obs-studio-enable-coreaudio-aac-encoder-windows.220/

If nothing helps, probably emulation is take place in the sound creation and it runs bad (maybe some configs are wrong).
