Question / Help OBS Studio Not Recording Audio.

OK, So when I try to record in OBS Studio It records my screen and everything fine, but when I play it back after recording the footage its completely mute. I have it setup to record my mic, and computer audio, but neither shows up in the recording. The green bars in the mixer for my mic and computer sound respond to me talking, and my computer's audio, but neither show up in the final recording, I've read countless forum posts trying to solve the issue, but none of them have helped, So I figured posting my issue exactly would give me better results.

Probably the correct problem description is "Windows Media Player is bad at playing back files recorded with OBS Studio"

Try opening your recordings in VLC.

How does this make sense? Why was is there no problem with OBS Classic and Windows Media Player but with Studio if the audio quality is 96-196 then it doesn't play? Sorry I am just struggling to see the logic and that is tripping me up.

There's a problem with the Media Foundation Encoder which Studio uses by default at 96-196 audio quality. Studio can use Apple's CoreAudio AAC encoder instead, if it's present, and all the audio problems I was having while recording videos (badly synced audio, errors being reported by ffmpeg) disappeared once I did that. Your mileage may vary.
