Question / Help OBS Studio not getting mic audio

I have tried every audio setting in OBS including the mixer and no sound from my mic is coming into OBS. All programs outside OBS can get my audio (windows, discord, twitch app, skype, etc). I am using a Behringer xr18 to bring my audio from my mixer to OBS via line in as my mic is an XLR mic. I am stumped on what is going on. Is my drivers not mixing well with OBS? Log files attached.

I just tried that and with all 3 none of them have audio. All the lines still had no audio. Even made a recording to be sure.

On my Mackie ProFx8, which is a 8 track bidirectional USB mixer (as should be your Behringer XR18), when you bring up Recording devices in the Windows sound tab, do you see USB Audio Codec associated with the XLR microphone?

I set that as my default recording device and then, create an audio input capture source associated with it. I also disable all the Audio settings in the Audio category (i.e. Desktop Audio, Mic/Aux).

Works for me.

Yes my Behringer is a 18/18 usb in and out but windows only sees channel 1/2. When I open my DAW it sees all 18 with the ASIO driver. When I open my sound properties I see the speakers and line in coming from my behringer. When I open line in and click on the listen tab, I hear all audio coming from the mic. Open up discord and Skype, same thing people can hear me no issues. OBS Studio nothing, no sound coming in from the mic at all. Sound from the speakers is fine.

So I am at a loss on what it could be outside of a corrupt DLL file but it wouldn’t make sense as my speaker line is fine but the line in line is not.
