Question / Help OBS Studio m3u8

Hello, I'm recording a window on my desktop to M3U8/ts and the ts files are only 300kb each. So my question is what is the best settings for this if hundreds of users are going to VLC my m3u8 from my Webserver to watch the stream so that there is no lag? What transcode settings, bitrate, can I change video size, etc... Thank you

EDIT: when I'm watching the video on my Roku, it goes to a loading screen every so often, I assume because the video is not getting read fast enough. How can I fix that? lower the bitrate or something?

maybe try nginx with rtmp module? if this is no option you have to tune how many parts get preloaded, but this will increase the delay.
What software you run on your server, with that info it should be easier to give good tipps.

Hello, sorry, what do you mean what software on my server?
It is a Windows 7 machine, with OSB Studio recording a window on my desktop to M3U8 and users access the M3U8 live stream recording VIA miniweb webserver. Thx

Probably should have mentioned that users will be also using a Roku to play the stream and it doesn't look like Roku can read RTMP streams :(
