Okay so I have been encountering this issue for quite a while now and have not been able to record because of it.
Usually when i am playing minecraft i get about 1000 fps without obs opened, but when i open obs, it dramatically drops the fps to 60-90. I have tried reading and watching other posts and videos but none have helped my situation.
Is there a way I can fix this fps issue. I want to get back to recording games and uploading them on my channel. Also when I play Fornite, on high settings i get about 80 fps no stutters and all without obs studio opened. But when opened i get about 30 fps even when turning down the settings. It is laggy to the point its unplayable for me. Hopefully someone understands my issue and helps me solve it, it would be greatly appreciated.
P.S Also if you notice i have it recording for 240 fps, I have seen other youtuber's record with this in minecraft and they have no problem. The quality looks astonishing when edited then rendered then uploaded into youtube. For other games I usually turn it down to 60
