Question / Help OBS Studio is stopping recordings really slow

I recorded a 4-7 minute video, and then when I stopped the recording it said "stopping recording...".
Then I went out for half an hour, computer still on, checked OBS Studio and said the same thing.
I don't even think that it even recorded anything.
I recorded the video on the same drive my game was on, because I am using a laptop.
Here are my specs if you need them:
Brand: HP
Year: 2012-2013
RAM: 8GB
CPU: Intel Core i5 third gen
GPU: Intel HD Graphics 4000 Family
Hard Drive: HDD
I do not have a optical drive.
Hard Drive capasity: 439GB but 269 available
I hope someone can help me.
OS: Windows 8.1 x64
I used the x32 bit version of OBS Studio on my PC. It was the shortcut on my desktop that I clicked on.

i am having this problem, but only with longer videos, my 1.5 min video went fine, butmy 30 ish minute video isn't working

Your output settings are incompatible with quicksync

Hi,

I am having this issue as well, but have no idea on how to use OBS, as I have literally just started using it. Could you explain to me what quicksync is, and how to fix it? And should I be seeing what I'm recording in the OBS window?
I'm using the x64 bit version with Windows 10, if that helps.

Thanks!
