Question / Help OBS Studio h1z1

Hello everyone,
I have been using OBS Studio for like 2 months now and i was having occasional and so rare crashes before h1z1 kotk got its new update and i was able to fix them with simple steps like updating drivers etc.

And now whenever i want to stream h1z1 king of the kill after some time OBS just stuck at 100-110 bitrate and every frame it renders goes to dropped frames section. Or sometimes it just got stuck at 0 bitrate without showing any crash message. This is really frustrating me since I really want to play and stream h1z1 but I can't do it without starting the stream over and over again. There was another problem which was stream stuttering during h1z1 play but i solved it by simply giving "Above Normal" priority to OBS Studio from Task Manager.
I checked the log files and couldn't figure out what is causing bitrate lowering to 0 or 100
The games I stream and I have no problem streaming with ;
-Dota2
-CSGO
-DayZ
-Arma3
-Euro Truck Sim. 2
-Battlefield 4
And the problem I explained on top is only happening while im streaming h1z1 kotk.

I am streaming on QuickSync mostly and my settings are :

-Bitrate : 1700kbit
-Keyframe Interval : 2
-Profile : Main
-Target Usage : Balanced
-Async Depth(no idea what it does) : 4
-Rate Control : CBR
-Base res : 1280:720
-Output res : 1280:720
-Downscale Filter : Bilinear
-FPS : 50

PC Specs :
i5 6500
8gb 2666mhz ram
ssd+hdd
gtx 980 gigabyte g1 gaming

I am attaching the log file
And i dont know how importan these infos i will give but maybe details matter :)
Using2 monitors Primary one is 1680*1050 60hz monitor
second one 1440*900 75hz
and i am also using an old android phone for my camera and i am using it from browsersource in OBS studio with IP webcam program on android phone.
I also am checking and monitoring if there is any overheating on CPU's or graphics card but CPU never goes over 65 degrees and gpu 62

We seem to have the same issue with QuickSync as I use QS to stream H1Z1 as well. It seems to be occurring more and more.

Another QS users post: https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/stream-disconnecting-randomly-when-using-quicksync.55551/

Can you downgrade to 0.15.4 and tell me if you are able to stream using QuickSync with the same settings you are using now? https://github.com/jp9000/obs-studio/releases/tag/0.15.4

Well 0.15.4 seems better but i was only able test it for an hour and there was no dropping bitrate or 0 bitrate, BUT there was still lagging/stutter when i watch my own stream from twitch, so I had to put the "Above Normal" priority to OBS again. I will test it more today and give feedback to you, if this works there is only one thing left which is the shitty performance of h1z1 :D

It is definitely H1Z1. I love the performance that I get using QS to stream so I've been trying to find a workaround until someone else can state that 0.16.2 QS is having issues and someone from the team can find it

damn h1z1. I dont get it while streaming %100 CPU usage is shown in HWMonitor. It wasn't like this before h1z1's major update. But the strange thing is people who has lower calibre CPUs are able to stream(x264) h1z1 and play at the same time.
0.15.4 is not shutting the stream off or lowering the bitrate thanks man !

Btw for 1700kbps your resolution and fps are way to high. Go 616p 30fps it has the best render possible at this bitrate.

Well bad news. 0.15.4 also is doing the same thing; randomly ending the stream or lowering the bitrate to 150kbit

I know I lowered the fps to 30 now it looks better

The "616p" part in "616p 30fps" is very important aswell. If you want 720p you need to put at at least 2000kbps.

well i checked the stream and it doesn't look that bad, i know it already that it's not enough but i tried lower resolutions before and it was worse quality than it is now.

If 0.15.4 is doing the same thing, then at least we would know it's not specific to 0.16.*. If others could test more and confirm one way or another, that'd be helpful.

That is strange as I've been livestreaming using QS on 0.15.4 since it's release and haven't had an issue with it till I updated to 0.16.2.
