OBS Studio Game Capture Question

Hi, my first post and getting used to this good program. I have everything set up and this is my small problem after watching many videos to fix myself.

When I use game capture source to live stream a game, the program shows the screen but it looks like 20% is cut off. I think my problem is this?
Tell me if I am wrong

screen is 2560x1440 as primary monitor
settings video - Base (canvas) Res 1920x1080 with aspect ratio of 16:9
-Output (Scaled) Res 853x480 with aspect ratio 853:480

This was done by the auto configuration. I live streamed my Euro Truck Sim 2 this morning, looked good but you couldn't see the 30% of the right side of my screen in the video of the live stream.

I really need faster intenet, running a Nvidea 270 Super, Windows 11 gaming machine. Does work correctly with Nvideas Shadow Play

Thanks for looking

It's because you have a 1920x1080 canvas which the 2560x1440 image doesn't fit on. Set your canvas to full res and then set scaling to 1920x1080. You could probably even stream at 2560x1440. If you use Nvenc encoder with NV12 chroma, it should be fine for performance. You would just need to tweak your settings to get a good bitrate. I don't do streaming, only recording, so I can't help you there

Thanks Day for the quick reply, I had a feeling it was that but wanted to get a second opinion on this type of item. If I stream live, it might be a problem but I will check it out.
