Question / Help OBS Studio: Game Capture is transparent?

I can't add a game capture to my OBS. When I make the game capture, it appears as a red dot on the top left, and when i press Ctrl+f it fits to screen but the game capture is transparent. I tired reinstalling OBS but that didn't work, and I made sure to have the game open so that it will load into OBS. I have no clue why this is happening and it was working a year ago, but now it doesn't work :/ please help... Thank you
