OBS Studio freezes Win 7-64 immediately after program startup

Windows 7 is End-Of-Life as of January 14 2020, per Microsoft.
It no longer meets the minimum requirements for OBS Studio, and even if it may work, it is outside the support scope.

Advise upgrading to at least Windows 8 (preferably 10, with the 20H2 patch).

Not an option here, but thanks for the reply and suggestion. Did a uninstall / reinstall and OBSS is working again (for now) ~:)
It had been working ok for months, then two days ago took a "dive", but now we're back to live action.
Best to all,
Ken
