Question / Help OBS Studio freeze randomly

I have the same issue like Tornado Wolf here. (freezing preview but no crash and i can't stop the recording, i have top shut down OBS with task manager)

I'm running on Windows 10 64bit with Anniversary Update

Updates that are installed:

Updates that i see to uninstall (programms and features)

So the question for me is what comulative update do i need to uninstall because i'm a noob when it comes to this.

There a PSA sticky just for this issue. If the other less severe workarounds do not work for you and you understand and accept the risks of uninstalling Windows Updates, then...

Rollback Windows updates KB3176938, KB3189866, KB3193494, KB3194496, or their successors.

KB3194798 is the current successor update to KB3194496. Please note that some people have reported that this does not work for them. Please also note that Windows 10 will pretty aggressively try to push updates unless you've taken steps to disable updates.

A quick but not ideal fix may be to set up your OBS stuff before a stream, right-click the preview and DISABLE the preview, then exit OBS, run it again, and start your stream without modifying anything. If you use the stream preview it may cause it to freeze again.

Microsoft MIGHT have a fix in the works, in fact my PC had a update to apply this afternoon that I will try tonight to see if my OBS freezing while streaming Battlefield 1 issue is fixed.
