Question / Help OBS Studio - Dropped frames on new setup

Hi guys, I recently upgraded my PC a couple of days ago, bear in mind my PC before was pretty low end i never got more than 0.10% dropped frames, however last night was my first stream on new rig, i in 4 hours i got like 800k dropped frames (8.5%). my viewers said it looked amazing and couldnt see it but it doesnt seem right, I did play around with the settings on the fly but no avail.

MY SPEC: i7 6700k 4.5ghz / 16GB DDR4 / GTX 970 Internet: 200 Down 20 Up

Currently using Medium preset with 3000 bitrate. 1920x1080 downscaled to 1280x720

If im missing something obvious please let me know
