Question / Help OBS Studio doesn't see 3rd monitor

Hi, I have tried to set up OBS Studio to see my 3 monitors but it only gives me the option to add 2 out of the 3 when adding to 'Sources'. The 2 monitors it sees are plugged into video card ports (HDMI & DVI) while the 3rd monitor it doesn't see is plugged into the HDMI port on the motherboard. Any help greatly appreciated!

OBS can only see displays that are connected to the GPU it was launched on, your 3rd monitor is on your iGPU, not your dGPU

Many thanks for the reply.

I need to be able to record all three monitors - is there a solution you can suggest? Would it be possible to set up a second instance of OBS to record the 3rd monitor?

Most GPUs support 3-4 Monitors, you just need the right cables. You most likely have HDMI , DVI and DisplayPort or 1 HDMI, 2x DVI and your monitors are a mix of HDMI and DVI.

You can get HDMI to DisplayPort Cables, HDMI to DVI, etc, just get the cable that will allow you to connect 3rd monitor to whatever the third input on your GPU is
