Question / Help OBS Studio doesn't pick up desktop audio since last Windows 10 update

I have been using OBS Studio to record Skyrim since the end of September 2018 and I've never had a problem before now. I can still record video, but my recording attempts over the weekend didn't pick up any audio, and I've tried several youtube fixes. The only thing that's changed since the problem started is that I let Windows install updates.

OBS is unable to access your audio device. It either doesn't have permission, or the device is no longer available, or device exclusivity is on in the sound control panel and another application is using it.
