Bug Report OBS studio crashing on startup after 4 hour broadcast

Hello all!

I just had a successful broadcast of 4 hours and as soon as I closed OBS studio, I wanted to re open it because I wanted to change a video setting, so I attempted to and now it keeps crashing on startup.

Would appreciate any help regarding this. Crash logs are attached.

I made some suggestions on how to work around it in the other thread, none of which are ideal :-)

@Jim @Osiris Do you have any ideas on this? Sorry to tag you direct it's obviously causing a bit of a problem for some people and they end up having to recreate their complete config to get around it.

I appreciate the help. I ended up doing it the 2nd way and it worked out fine. Thank you!

I really hope this bug gets fixed though. Might get annoying to do it everytime :(
