I recently installed OBS Studio to stream Game-play from my Roxio Game Cap HD Pro and I run into 2 problems when using the most recent version of the program (0.15.4) First of the problems is when my whole PC freezes when I attempt to start the program from the installer, and secondly, when I start the program from the shortcut my screen flickers then i get a notification saying "Display driver has stopped responding and has recovered, Display Driver AMD driver stopped responding and has successfully recovered."
I have had to restart my computer many times, due to the first problem, and I have uninstalled and reinstalled it several times. I have no idea what is causing the program to crash itself and freeze my PC.
As an alternative I have had to use Xsplit, which recognizes the input from the capture card ,and had the classic OBS use Xsplit as an input so that I could stream. (Very resource intensive on my 6-core cpu)
