I load up OBS Studio first and then Mass Effect 2 but the game crashes OBS Studio. I have to terminate it via Task Manager to get it to close. I restart OBS Studio and it doesn't load up or do anything. i have to restart my laptop.

This is no crash log, no crash to desktop. It just stops responding. I have to Ctrl+Alt+Del just to close it and then restart my laptop for it to work again. I cannot seem to get it to work with Mass Effect 2.

OK, I have two game captures, one points to another game that loads up under two different and seperate .exe programs I.E. Orcs Must Die Unchained. So when I run Orcs Must Die Unchained that second game captures the specific window I set it too and has never changed, The only Game Capture that I change depending on what game I'm playing is the first game capture. I never have any of the game capture pointing at the same program, I'm not an idiot.

I have a similar issue. I tried to stream Mass Effect 2, and OBS repeatedly crashed in the exact same spot multiple times. I really don't know what's causing the issue.

Like the above person, I would post a crash report. However, I don't get one...it just force-closes itself. When I open it back up, the "game capture" source that I have is wacking out and doing weird stuff, too. I really want to stream it, but I guess it's not meant to be.

@ToraxOutlaw log just shows you are using 2 game captures but, has no more description of what they hook
00:40:09.025: - source: 'Game' (game_capture)
00:40:09.025: - source: 'Game 2' (game_capture)

For me, the only idea, and I suppose you have yet tried it, is running OBS as Administrator.

@NovemberJoy better write a new post and include a log.

Here's a log...I don't know if this'll tell you anything you don't already know, but I can try it.
