Maybe someone can help me out here.

A long time ago, I downloaded and installed the OBS Multiplatform version and used it quite a lot. Now, I want to use OBS Studio, but it always changes to OBS Multiplatform after the 2nd launch. When I install it and launch it for the 1st time, I have this:

The 2nd launch and every launch afterwards gives me this:

What is even happening? I made sure to uninstall everything OBS related on this PC. There is no OBS Multiplatform version on my PC anymore and yet it will always launch the version that I don't want. What am I missing here?

Any help would be appreciated. I will provide further infomration if it's needed.

They are the same, both version 17.0.2, only difference is 32bit and 64bit version. And also it seems one is a portable version and one is not. Better check your shortcuts.

They were not the same, though. Not at all. I also found the problem on my own now.

Whenever I deinstalled that Multiplatform Version, it didn't get rid of all files, including the files that get created in the Hidden AppData folder. Since I removed it, I have no issues with OBS Studio and everything is running perfectly fine.

Why does your E-Mail notification system on a thread reply not work by the way? I selected it and never received one.

It's going to be there in about ~2-4 business days. Or more, depending on if it dislikes you.
