Hello everyone.
The other day I downloaded the latest version of OBS Studio (20.0.1, Mac). I installed it on my 2012 MacBook Pro running 10.9.5, but the first and only time I opened it, it froze to the point where I had to force quit. Ever since then, some things on my laptop are very laggy when the application is not running (accessing my dock, switching desktops, Mission Control/Hot Corners, opening Finder windows). I've tried refreshing my RAM, restarting Finder, repairing disk permissions, resetting PRAM and SMC, deleting the application as well as its installer and application support folder, restarting my computer multiple times (the first time I restarted all my wallpapers were reverted to the default background image), and even booting into safe mode (where the problem still persisted). Needless to say, I was not able to generate a crash log.
I would be very grateful for any suggestions on how to fix this, or sharing of similar experiences. Thanks very much.
