Bug Report OBS Studio black preview since Oculus Home 1.15 update

Cross post from /Oculus, but could really so with some help!

My Home upgraded to 1.15 last night, and now I can't get any window capture recording to work in OBS Studio for VR games.

I've upgraded OBS, graphics drivers, rebooted, tried game that I know have worked, games that I've never tried, Oculus & SteamVR games, and the OculusMirror and nothing is working.

I saw in the Oculus forums someone had the issue in the 1.15 beta but there didn't seem to be any follow up to it.

Anyone else come across this and more importantly anyone found a fix?

The SteamVR output mirror works so that's something, but most of the things I record are through Oculus. Display capture works but isn't suitable for all games as some don't fullscreen, like Wilson's Heart

Edit: Display capture doesn't record full screen VR applications either, again this applies to the game or Oculus Mirror outputs.

I've tried repairing Oculus Home, reinstalling OBS, uninstalling the updated AMD encoder, and tried a new windows user profile and nothing is working still.
If I enable cursor recording it picks up the cursor in the preview window so it's somewhat working.
I've also tried disabling my antivirus and firewall and no luck there either.

The window capture in OBS seems to work (it's the game capture that doesn't work) so I'll try and use that for now and hope it gets fixed in the next Oculus update

Same problem here mate, is there anyone that can shed a little light on this please? Like many people I depend on this great software to create content and it is quite annoying to have it broken, Oculus are not reacting to this issue at present, I hope that OBS might be looking into it for all their loyal users.

Cheers, AussieStig

Just heard back from Oculus. They said their engineering team is working with OBS to resolve it and all they can suggest at the moment is to keep an eye out for an update on Oculus Home or OBS Studio.

Not ideal but at least they've acknowledged it and are working on it.
