Question / Help OBS Studio - Audio Stutter.

This is probably a problem more people have had before me. But when I open OBS Studio or even OBS Classic my audio on my PC starts stuttering. I thought it might just have been a problem with my PC drivers but as soon as I close OBS everything is back to normal.
The stuttering is present in streams and recorded media. As well as it's present while just having the program open and doing other things on the PC like watching a video on YouTube.

I posted the log, so perhaps someone can make some sense of it, because I haven't seemed to be able to find a solution that works for me.

On a side note - Yes, I know, what am I thinking trying to stream on a PC with those specs, but hey, it's just meant to be used for OBS while I play games on other systems.

***Update***
Tried installing the AAC for the Core Audio - Did not solve the problem.

Seems like my thread was hijacked.
I tried updating drivers again, and following the advice given.

My problem still isn't solved and I still have the audio stutter, which is very unfortunate.
Unlike with Raccxxn then my problem does interfere with the quality of my stream, since the audio stutter appears in video and stream recordings as well.

What I am thinking is that it has to be a problem I have with OBS, since the problem only occurs with that open.

I´m not an expert in capture cards.
Maybe your elgato card is the cause of that stuttering.

Hi all so depending on what you are using this can be so frustrating... I have a solution for those of you using avermedia capture cards and obs together and perhaps this applies to other capture cards..if your audio just seems to stutter and no matter what you try you cannot sort it....[THE SOLUTION] in OBS your capture card source should be a video capture device. Click the settings cog in the mixer next to your video capture device and change [capture audio only] to [output to desktop audio] and then enable desktop audio. Make sure all your settings in obs match your capture card settings.

Things to note video bitrate in obs is kbps, avermedia stream engine video bitrate is mbps. So 3.0 mbps in avermedia = 3000 kbps in obs so on so forth.

Keep sample rate 44.1khz.

Audio Bitrate can be 128 or 256 just make sure everything in obs matches up with your capture card stream engine settings

I was having glitchy audio for the longest time with my Elgato CamLink4K. Finally found that installing the CoreAudio AAC did the trick. For the original poster, it looks like you actually didn't get CA AAC installed, as your log says:
[CoreAudio encoder]: CoreAudio AAC encoder not installed on the system or couldn't be loaded

If it installs correctly, you should have a line that says:
[CoreAudio encoder]: Adding CoreAudio AAC encoder

Follow this thread to install CoreAudio AAC: https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/obs-studio-enable-coreaudio-aac-encoder-windows.220/
