I just started using OBS Studio for streaming but it seems terrible for recording. I can't find the enable playback option and it doesn't record audio properly. I know the audio works because it sounds perfect on the Youtube and Twitch stream but when i try to record directly from OBS Studio, though the video is perfect, there is no audio when i try to play it on either Windows Media Player or the default windows 10 video player, and when i add the video to Sony Vegas the audio magically appears but sounds staticy/choppy. I know my video players and Sony Vegas work cause i tested it with other mp4 videos and there are no problems there.

For OBS Studio, use the recording quality presets under Settings > Output (Simple output mode) or read http://obsproject.com/forum/resourc...lity-recording-and-multiple-audio-tracks.221/
Test your playback in a decent media player like VLC.
If the problem continues, post a log.
