Question / Help OBS Studio Audio Not Editable In Sony Vegas Pro 12

Okay so first let me just say that for over 2 years i've used the original OBS to stream and record footage of a variety of content. Using the mp4 and aac containers. All files were of the exact quality i would set them too whether i was streaming or recording the footage. I could then use a video player such as Windows Media Player or VLC to playback the raw recorded file with those containers and they would play perfectly fine. I could then import the raw file into Sony Vegas Pro 12 and edit them to my hearts content.

This brings me now to the following problem with OBS Studio.

The settings, bit rates and containers are all the same mp4 and aac. When i open the file in a video player such as Windows Media Player or VLC the file plays exactly as I expect it too. This is also true in a streaming format such as twitch.tv. Everything works exactly as I expect it to.

Now onto the problem. When I Import the file into Sony Vegas Pro 12 none of the audio files come with it. When I play back the file in SVP12 there is no audio. I can do nothing to get the audio tracks to show up. This seems like a huge problem. Was something changed about the aac container from OBS to OBS studio? Is there an expanded codec pack that I should be downloading in order to edit these files?

Please before you go spouting about using a converter or demux or whatever keep in mind that upon converting a file you lose quality which is exactly what I DO NOT want to do and I shouldn't have to. So please keep any solutions you may have that require using a 3rd party program out of your answer as this is not the solution I want. I also do not want to change the container to mp3 as explained below.

The ideal solution would be to use the same AAC container and be able to edit it in a finalized raw recording through SVP. It would not using the mp3 container because mp3 is a horrible container for sound and I do not want my high end equipment sounding like a trash can blue microphone product.

FAQ from other forums: To answer some basic questions before they are asked.
So if i use high end video editing and high end equipment why would I continue to use OBS? If I don't need to buy another expensive program I simply don't want to.
Why not just switch back to regular obs from obs studio? I plan on moving to a linux based platform after windows 7 loses official support from Microsoft.

Pertinent RIG Specifications and Program Versions:
I7-4930k
Windows 7
Sony Vegas Pro 12
OBS v0.657b and OBS Studio v0.14.2

Thank you in advance.

First, remuxing just changes the container format, not the video or audio streams. It doesn't cause any quality loss.

Second, since we don't provide support for your video editors it's not really up to us to determine what part of the file they're choking on. If you suspect it's a container issue, try a different container format. I suppose if nothing else works you could demux the audio out with something like FFmpeg and add it in manually when editing.

This also causes the audio tracks to be merged into a single track. Something I also should have addressed in my original post. This is also not an ideal solution as I planned on having multiple editable tracks.

EDIT:
Changing the output to a .mov container seems to have fixed the 1 problem but has combined all the audio tracks into 1 track. Any fixes for this?
EDIT 2:
I have found a post which seems to have addressed the multiple audio tracks problem. Thanks for the help.
