Question / Help Obs studio audio issues

Hey guys hope some one will help with this as it is getting frustrating to me.

So at first, i was having some trouble in setting up my audio where i wanted to hear my voice as i was recording at the same time, without OBS being able to pick up my voice again and record it twice, a user on the form helped me out out and advised me to use voise meeter, and when used it it worked like a charm.

I started experimenting on recording and everything, but i wanted to get different audio tracks at the same time, so i went online and searched and got to a point where i have to setup multiple audio devices in order to get multiple tracks on the video when i want to edit the video.

Then all of a sudden when i start a game while using Discord i either get no sound what so ever from discord or the game won't give me any sound on OBS.

When i unplug my headset and plug them back some things work and others won't, it might not be OBS that is causing the problem, but as i remember i have not used anything else before this problem occurred.

To be more clear on the matter, i have a blue yeti wich i use for commentary, and use the Logitech g35 for game chat and audio out put, i used voicemeeter for as mentioned before to only be able to listen to myself, does any one have any solution what so ever to fix the issue and advice on how to get everything working properly, i also feel that I'm doing so many wrong things at the same time, because of the audio setup.

I do apologize for the long post, and thank you for reading through the post.

He already said he uses Voice Meter. Unless you're talking to me, which in that case, what I'm doing is a little too complex for Voice Meter (that software really blows).
Yeah there are two versions one is simple and the other is more complex hence Banana

Either way, they both really do suck. I mean they are simple to use and offer some decent features for people new to audio manipulation software, but the things I do can't be done with their software.
Agree it does come in handy for audio channel mixing and it's free ...what do you use? XD

Discord can be... glitchy as far as audio.
What I mean by that, sometimes after opening discord, the audio device that supplies audio to/from discord (in the discord audio settings) gets messed up. It will look like it's right as far as the settings go, but won't do what it's supposed to do and/or what it's saying it's doing. So to fix that issue, you just need to change the input/output devices in the discord audio settings to something else and then change it back to normal.

As far as hearing your own voice as you're recording without OBS picking it up... Go into your windows sound settings > recording devices > choose a device (your mic) > right click and click properties > click the listen tab > click the listen to device check box and choose the device you want to hear it on (headset).

Unplugging devices while and application that is running that uses said devices is never a good idea and will almost always result in problematic issues.

Thank you for your reply,

I have tried changing audio settings as you mentioned on discord but it did not reslove the issue, and should try the option where i can assign where i can hear myself rather than using voice meter, but i cant use more than a source in order to get all sounds come from one output, and not being recorded that is what i intend to eliminate. I will try that and inform you on what might happen.
Again thank you for the reply

Using normal one i guess, but i might end up deleteing it from the system and installing banana version to experiment, i really do need more audio control, to be honest feeling frustrated i just need a solution

I know your pain, if you want... I'm going to be making a tutorial on how I do my audio, since I've never seen anyone do it the way I do and there are no tutorials for it. Follow me on twitter or youtube and I should have the tutorial uploaded within the next few days, as long as I don't get lazy.
Sure thing will do follow you and wait, hope for not too long my friend.
