OBS Studio 27 and Flash

This morning for our 10am church service OBS Studio version 27.2.4 64-bit work correctly. For our noon service and currently we are getting just a black screen. I can login to the IP camera but cannot view its output since we are running Windows 10 and Microsoft has killed flash which is needed to view the camera output from a browser.

There was one Windows security update which I uninstalled which did not solve the problem. For some unknown reason there are no saved restore points even though it is set to create them.

So. I am wondering if Flash is needed for OBS Studio version 27 to work correctly? I know from working on PC’s that one-minute things will work just fine and few minutes later something will not work even thought there has not been any changes by a human.

This is coming at a bad time when we would like to record and stream our Christmas services.

Thanks in advance for your help.

This problem has been fixed. Evidently the first user accidently clicked on the "Camera" setting checked "local file" which I don't need. I uncheck it and added back the input string. Thankfully, a while back when everything was working correctly, I took screenshots and notes of all settings and screens just in case something like this happened.

For not being able to view the IP camera directly, I did not realize It was opening up in chrome. I have created a shortcut that will now open in Internet Explorer. I can now view the output of the camera directly.

I also realize that because the operators of the camera have a limited account, restore points were not being created. So, under the admin account a I created a new task that will create one every day. I am hoping my settings are correct. I will have to keep an eye on it.
