We use OBS to Facebook Live Stream. I just upgraded to OBS Studio 27.2.3 64-bit. When I launch the program, Task Manager shows "OBS Studio (7)". The program launches and appears to run normally. However, when I exit the program (with the Exit button or the 'X'), OBS disappears from Task Manager as you would expect but then "OBS Studio 27.2.3 (64-bit, windows) - Profile: xxxx - Scenes: xxxx" appears in about 2 seconds. If I don't End Task it and launch OBS again, it starts and appears to run normally but now I have "OBS Studio (7)" and "OBS Studio 27.2.3 (blah blah blah)" in Task Manager. When I exit the program this time, "OBS Studio (7)" disappears again but a 2nd instance of "OBS Studio 27.2.3..." appears in about 2 seconds. Each time I relaunch the program, an additional instance is left running in Task Manager. "OBS Studio (x)" has always been left running in Task Manager since we start using OBS a few years ago. Anyone know how to fix this so OBS shuts down properly?
