OBS Studio 27.0 Video Capture option freezing on my MAC

Finally wipe all remnants of OBS from my Mac and re-installed the new version. Ok it boots up, but when I go to add a Video Capture Device the wheel just spins forever. What am I doing wrong or missing here.. Before this OS upgrade it worked fine...

Any help would greatly be appreciated..
