Question / Help OBS Studio 1920x1080 120fps Minecraft Laggy

I got a new monitor to record in 1920x1080 120fps in minecraft. but when i record my game isnt laggy but the recording is. i tried rendering it in sony vegas 13 but that didint fix it. i am able to record in 1280x720 but not 1920x1080 its just really choppy. i record with nvenc cause i have a 770 nvidia gtx.

20gb Of RAM DDR3

Intel Core i7

MSI MS-7522

Nvidia GTX 770

nvm i fixed it by going in output settings and setting encoder to x264 low cpu usage but thanks anyway!

Why on earth are you recording at 120fps, set that to 30

? you cant record minecraft at 30 fps you need 120 for it too look good

and then you render in 60 so there is a motion blur

Mod, he's correct in the case of minecraft. All minecraft pvpers record in either 120 or 240 fps then render in 30 or 60 to make it look smooth, or if you render in 30 fps, motion blur.
