Bug Report OBS Studio 18.0.0 Crash!!

So I just downloaded OBS studio for the first time and everything was working fine and no problems, but then today for some reason when I went to start it up I would get an error message that says, "woops, OBS has crashed- would you like to copy the crash log to the clipboard?". When I hit "Yes" or "No" it closes the program. This happens every time I open OBS... sometimes OBS will open along with the error message and sometime I will only get the error message. Not familiar with OBS or other programs of the sort so i'm not really sure what to do.

Update: so right after i posted this thread i decided to mess around and see what may be causing OBS to keep crashing. So like i said before even when i get the crash error, sometimes OBS will still open and i am able to navigate through the program as i would normally... so in my investigation i opened up the properties for my video capture device and in the device tab i have two options: my webcam (C922 Pro Stream Webcam) and Personify ChromaCam for C922 which is an application that came with my webcam that removes a backround without a green screen. So in the properties under devices the latter was chosen, so i changed it to my C922 Pro Stream Webcam and so know i dont get crash message when i open OBS. Which is good but it still doesnt fix the fact that whenever i try to change it back to the other device it still crashes OBS. i mean i could probably live without it, but it would still be nice to use both and not have it crash every time.

Post the crash log. It sounds like the drivers for your device may be to blame though.

yep I do have the exact same issue. But I can't get OBS tu run at all anymore. Only the crash window appears even tough before I could still navigate obs.

Same boat with crashing, but my OBS 64 or 32 bit will not launch at all so I can't edit any settings.
If it helps, I also have the C922 Pro Stream Webcam
