Bug Report OBS Studio 0.16.2 Crash On Adding GIFs To IMAGE

tried adding a gif image to OBS and locks up and crashes

ACTUALLY it just seems to be this gif http://i.imgur.com/Fu0fDPN.gif

Is there a file size or something that could cause issues when using larger gifs?

Seems fine here. Sure you have enough RAM available? Large animated GIFs use a lot of memory.

i have 16gb
so it works with recording but not when I am live. I made a gif showing what happens.

Your system might have 16GB, but you're using the 32-bit version of OBS Studio, which can only use up to 2GB of RAM in your case. I've seen someone else here explain that GIFs are converted into a lossless format when rendered by OBS.

Does it work for you if you try to add it on its own to a fresh Scene Collection? If so, your Scenes/Sources are likely not leaving enough RAM available by the time you try to add that GIF.

Does it also crash in the same manner in 64-bit OBS Studio?

I will give that a shot tonight. Using 64 bit that is.
