OBS stuck on stopping recording

Hi, today I Record an important video, but when I stop recording, it's stuck on "stopping recording". I recorded more than 2 hours but only saved 9 minutes. how to get the missing part of the video? please help me get the missing part because the cideo is very important for me. thank you.

1. Run OBS as Admin. Right click on the OBS shortcut, properties, advanced, check box, ok, apply, ok.
2. If you're recording to MP4, record to MKV.

Your machine is very low end. Probably, you overloaded your system so severely, that only the first few frames were recorded, then the encoder got stuck because of overload and you lost everything afterwards.
Before you try to create important videos, you need to test your settings, make sure you don't overload your system, and verify that produced videos will be fine.

I have the same issue and my machine is Ryzen 5, 32gb ram, 1tb nvme... I will try to run the OBS Studio as administrator to check if it will be solved.

Problem: Mp4 recording does not stop when clicking "stop recording" button (whether main display stop button or output timer stop button).
Solution: When STARTING the MP4 recording, Left Click and HOLD the start button for at least 5 seconds (before releasing) to start the recording. For STOPPING the MP4 recording, Left Click and HOLD the stop button for at least 5 seconds before letting go.
Since I switched to starting/stopping recordings that way, I have had ZERO problems stopping the mp4 recording.
BTW, if your computer can handle it, start TWO instances of OBS recordings. When you start the 2nd instance, it gives you a "You sure you want to do that?" message, but as long as your computer can handle it, you have an "extra shot" at getting a good 2nd (identical) recording out of it (should one of the instance recordings go awry).

Проблема: запись Mp4 не останавливается при нажатии кнопки «остановить запись» (будь то кнопка остановки основного дисплея или кнопка остановки выходного таймера).
Решение: при НАЧАЛЕ записи MP4 щелкните левой кнопкой мыши и УДЕРЖИВАЙТЕ кнопку «Пуск» не менее 5 секунд (прежде чем отпустить), чтобы начать запись. Чтобы ОСТАНОВИТЬ запись MP4, щелкните левой кнопкой мыши и УДЕРЖИВАЙТЕ кнопку остановки не менее 5 секунд, прежде чем отпустить ее.
С тех пор, как я переключился на запуск/остановку записи таким образом, у меня не было проблем с остановкой записи mp4.
Кстати, если ваш компьютер справится с этим, запустите ДВА экземпляра записей OBS. Когда вы запускаете второй экземпляр, он выдает сообщение: «Вы уверены, что хотите это сделать?» сообщение, но пока ваш компьютер может его обработать, у вас есть «дополнительный шанс» получить из него хорошую вторую (идентичную) запись (если одна из записей экземпляра пойдет не так).

как это работает???? Я уже около месяца искал решение проблемы, а тут оно оказалось самое просто и не логичное вроде.... Спасибо))
