Question / Help OBS streaming running from Raspberry Pi3

Is it possible to install ubuntu on Raspberry Pi3 and run OBS from it.
Idea is to start VLC with video playlist of files 720p and maybe lower and stream VLC window.

Any news on this. I'd like to stream the desktop of my Raspbian OS from my Raspberry PI 3. Is it possible right now? Thank you!

you should be able to use vlc on rpi3 to stream out with vlc over rtmp to an nginx instance on another device/pc/etc. It's something i should probably do myself since an rpi3 would be a perfect streaming music box.
