Question / Help OBS Stream FPS Problem Help!!

Hi, I am trying to stream Fortnite (720p, Full screen) with OBS and I find that whenever I start streaming/recording and tab in to the game, the stream becomes very choppy but only when the fps isn't constant i.e. not constant 60fps I tried to work around this by capping the frame rate to 60 but it is still sometimes choppy, it is the same with recording. My native resolution is 1080p (if I play the game at 1080p, it goes under 60fps, which I don't want).

I set the OBS to stream with the GPU in the NVIDIA settings, as a black screen is shown if I use the CPU. I also do not want to put the game into windowed mode as the fps of the actual game drops drastically.

Another problem is that I can't choose the NVENC encoder otherwise it says that I couldn't start recording/streaming, but the log says it is supported?

Also I'm trying to stream with a single laptop (I know, I should probably get a desktop PC ~ don't have money :/)

Here is my log file when recording one game of Fortnite:

It would be great if someone could help :)

You are getting encoding and rendering lags.
I dont think you can stream very well with your notebook, because of the CPU and also GPU.
Did you check your upload speed? If not, use this: https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest

try lowering your settings ingame and in OBS.
Try 30fps instead of 60 fps.
Downscaling filter to billinear.

You wont be able to stream at 60fps, specially a fast pace game like fortnite.
