Bug Report OBS stops when selecting Elgato HD60 Pro

Yesterday I had the problem of when I open OBS it will immediately crash. No crashlogs avaiable only the normal.
Today after updating OBS will open but as soon as I add a source and select my Elgato HD60 Pro, OBS stops working and closes. However when I select the Elgato Helper Device it will keep running.

Both the 32 and 64bit version have this problem. I also updated the OBS software to 0.16.6 but that doesn't change anything. When adding a webcam (C920) no problems occur until I add the Elgato HD60 Pro. Again no crashlog only the normal log.

The error I receive on screen (roughly translated)
obs64.exe has stopped working
An error occured making the program not working properly.
The program will be shut down. There will be a message when a solution is available

Are there any settings I can use for OBS before adding the Elgato that might solve this?
I'm a first time user of OBS so I haven't had it running before. Same goes for the Elgato.
I have a clean install of Win10 PRO build 1511 10586.679.
The Elgato is hooked up to a PS4 and HDCP is turned off.

I got it to work!!! Apparently one of my sound devices was making the elgato crash. After updating those, OBS started up, I could select the Elgato and it is now still running after 30 minutes

I found that OBS has to be run in administrator mode if your using multiple keys for push to talk.. Wonder if some thing similar is going on where OBS needs the Administrative mode to keep access to all the interfaces..
