Question / Help OBS stops recording

I tried to record the screen while drawing on my graphic tablet. I was drawing for about 40 minutes but when I finished, I discovered OBS recorded only first 29 minutes. I tried again - this time recording stopped after 26 minutes, although the program was still showing it's recording the screen. I don't use any keybinds for start/stop- I'm not even using the keyboard while recording, as I'm working entirely on my tablet.

You overload you CPU with video encoding. It's not powerful enough to encode 1920x1080 with 30 fps. Switch the encoder from x264 to Hardware (QSV) for recording. Should be available with your hardware.
