In the "not what I expected" category, a few weeks ago I upgraded my video card so Starfield wouldn't crash every 5 minutes. My new RX-6750XT card sort of fixed that, but then a week or so later I noticed that all the Skype/Zoom conversations that I'd recorded with OBS since the upgrade were totally "blank" from start to finish! (I think the audio may have still been recorded, but without the video that wasn't as useful).
I found a work around which is to delete "Display Capture" as a source and then re-add it. I'd like to suggest that OBS should check and re-initialize its interface to the display port if and when it can detect that a new video card has been added to the system. Would have saved me the week's worth of data that got lost!
