Obs Startup Crash

Hi,

so i Updated to version 29.0 and after that OBS crashes on Startup even if i downgrade back do 28.X
Crash log is already linked, ive no clue what causes the problem. GPU driver is up do date.
Also reinstalled OBS clean

Try creating a portable version of OBS.

If it starts, then the matter is in the settings of the installation version that have remained.

What version of OBS were you using before? What version of Windows?

seems like my scene collection, specific the Goal Browser source, caused obs to crash.
Ive used 28.0 before on W11 updated to 29.0

Looks like you didn't install OBS portable correctly. Its settings are isolated from the installation version, so it helps to diagnose a number of problems with settings and scenes, which is what you reported above. Now you should use the elimination method.

How do you use the scene elimination mode if the program refuses to start and just crashes as soon as the missed frames window pops up?
