In short:
1. Use "Game Capture" instead of "Window Capture"
2. Set "Mode" to "Capture Specific Window"
3. Select the Splashtop window from the "Window" drop-down list
----------
This was probably more of a headache to figure out than it needed to be. Basically, I am using Splashtop to remotely view another computer on my network, and I wanted to include the Splashtop window in my OBS stream. BUT, when I added Splashtop using "Window Capture," the output would just be black and would not show what was actually been shown on Splashtop. The only way I could get OBS to show what was on Splashtop was if I used "Display Capture," which was not exactly the best solution.
After a bit of Google searching and looking through the OBS forums, I did not find any solutions to this problem posted. So, I eventually just gave up, figured I wouldn't be able to use Splashtop, and tried some other remote access software (Teamviewer, etc.).
Then, suddenly, the idea just came to try "Game Capture." I figured "why not try" and voila, it worked!
I am only posting this to, hopefully, save someone else the time and frustration of figuring this out.
Cheers and happy streaming!
