I've seen some similar threads here but none of them helped my case so I will explain my problem.
I stream through OBS in a platform for musicians and singers and I am using windows on a MacBook Pro. I also use an external sound device and a mic. Everything was working fine at first and I streamed a lot without problems.
Recently when I enter OBS everything is working fine, both desktop sound and mic but after something like 3 minutes the desktop sound stops and my mic starts glitching. If I turn off the desktop sound my microphone works fine. So I guess it has something to do with the sound from desktop. Although the sound stops the source is still the same and it doesn't changes for default as I read some people saying here.
Anyway, all I have to do is restart OBS and everything works fine again but it doesn't last long.
I also have all the drives updated and I already reinstalled OBS but the problem persists.
I would really appreciate all your help because singing online is my only source of income at the moment due to covid and I've been loosing lots of gigs because of this.
