Question / Help OBS Slideshow not working with certain gifs in a confusing way.

This has puzzled me for weeks since I used to have 3 gifs in a slideshow that would loop as intended. Then one day I noticed the looping stopped and it just stayed on the first gif. Tried making a new source for it, and that didn't work. Today I tried seeing if the whole thing was broken by using other gifs of various file size to test it all out. It worked as intended with the random gifs I put. I then added one of the three gifs I wanted there, and that worked too. I then added a second of the desired gif and... it just acted like it wasn't there. Took out gif number 1 and then it showed number 2. Added gif number 3 and that didn't show either. I even added different ones past gifs number 1/2/3 but nothing shows up after they're there. The heck is wrong? Version 23.2.1 64-bit btw.

I always had problems using GIF's for other things..
I would suggest converting them to a regular image file like JPG or PNG and use them that way.

Maybe someone else knows better but that's what I found works for me..

The slideshow is limited to 250 MB of uncompressed image data (width * height * 4 * frames).

Not an conventional approach, but try copying the images to a different folder at root of C: drive and then try adding all three.
