Hello, I am currently trying to record using OBS for windows. I keep running into a problem where the game will play just fine, the preview window will play just fine, the studio window will play at about 30 fps, and the actual recording at 15 fps. I've played around with the settings to no avail, even moving to the Nvidia encoder to take the strain off my CPU. Nothing is working and I don't know if its the program itself or if I'm missing something.
My specs are:
Intel i5-3470 Quad Core
4x2gb RAM
Nvidia GT 730 Low Profile
500gb SATA HDD
240w HP PSU (Very wonky and seemingly extremely modified so as to only be applicable to the PC's motherboard.)
Its a stock HP 8300 Compaq Elite minus the Nvidia card. I've tried running the bitrate into the sky and, afterwards, into the ground to a very miniscule effect. All help is appreciated!
