Obs skipping frames but my cpu is at 60% or lower all the time

So i noticed that sometimes i get the message at the bottom of obs saying "encoding overloaded..."

Use the Quality preset, not Max Quality, and disable Psycho-Visual Tuning. Both use CUDA cores and tend to cause 'encoding overloaded' issues even on machines which should otherwise have no problems. (Lookahead can also do this, but you already have that one turned off.)

Will changing those settings have a significant impact on video quality?

No. You'd need the video side-by-side to see any difference at all, and even then it'd take a while to spot any.

Thanks you, that seemed to fix the issue or at least most of it. Now I only get like 100 skipped frames out of 3 hours streaming/recording
