Optimal OBS settings might be an issue for many users of OBS.
Suggestions:
1.) On the OBS Help Support page, a settings solutions matrix could be provided where a user could input/select their desktop pc components and each of the optimal settings would be output as a result. Inputs such as: Windows 10 Home OS, 16GB RAM, 100GB+ SSD/HDD free space available, NVidia GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card, Onkyo TX NR 7100 receiver for audio, LG OLED 4k UHD television as monitor, etc.
2.) When the OBS software is installed it scans your computer component devices and automatically sets the optimal settings
3.) OBS could provide an online solution where it remotely scans your computer system hardware and automatically sets the optimal settings
4.) Or an entrepreneur could create a downloadable barebones A.I. agent that implements this on the client computer. This A.I. agent would scan any personal computer to create a complete hardware capabilities profile. Most of this information is already collected in Device Manager. Other information is collected in Windows Settings. This information could be used to optimally setup OBS or any other particular application.
Can you imagine if you could patent such an A.I. agent and license it to app developers? Oops. I think the cat is out of the bag.
