We have been using OBS for about 2 years and really appreciate everyone who has contributed to its development. Recently my hard drive has failed and I am not able to access the operating system resulting in the loss of OBS operation. I am able to access the drive just not able to run windows. I would like to salvage all my setup information as the settings have evolved over time and I have no recollection of where to start. Does anyone know where the information might be stored?

If you're trying to salvage data in general from a failing Windows system drive, save the directory c:\users\<username> including subdirectories. This is called the user profile directory. If you didn't store elsewhere, all your created files are within this directory. All app settings and personalization are saved in a hidden directory c:\users\<username>\AppData\Roaming. OBS is storing its data in c:\users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\obs-studio.

OBS please fix this updating nightmare where we loose our scenes
or give us a rollback option so this problem stops happening
