Hello everyone i`m kinda newbie so i want some advice what encode type and settings i should use for game called Fortnite and similar games (FPS) etc. okay there's my PC spec :
CPU
Intel Core i7-8700K, 3.70GHz, 12MB, BOX
RAM
G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4, 2x8GB, 3000MHz,
CL15
GPU
MSI GeForce GTX 1080 GAMING X 8GB GDDR5X (256 bit) HDMI, 3x DP, DVI, BOX (GTX 1080 GAMING X 8G)
CPU is 6 cores 12 threads in stock 3.7 to 4.7 (turbo) propably i`ll be goin on 4.7 OC stable i guess my upload bitrate might be
25/5 so (3500 upload is this i can go maximum 4000 but i dont think so so stay at 3500) or im wondering about 4/12 (download / upload) my ethernet provider is waiting for my response (yeah i know its shitty as f*ck)
target that im looking for is an 1080p60fps its an native resolution im going to play and record or stream 720p60fps and recording at 1080p60fps on YOUTUBE
Questions:
1. What encode type you prefer for this PC? ( i`ll be streaming and playin on same PC using 2 monitors (obs with stream view, chat ) and i want smooth stream and stable gameplay without any fps drops at good game settings.
2. Is 3500 bit rate ok for 1080p 60 fps or i should forget about it and go 720p 60 fps?
3. IF 3500 bit rate is bad for 1080p 60 fps then for connection like 4/12 can i go 9000 upload for example? (i mean what about
stream crash or lags in game because of bad download rate to upload? )
4. Should i go for 25/5 or 4/12 (UP/DL)? I know that more upload = i can go NVENC less upload = x264 but...
5. Is it better to go native or downscale for performance? :>
6. What OBS program should i use? Studio? or old one :>?
7. Preset for my PC? for this one u recommend (might be both nvenc or x264)
8. How using x264 or NVENC how i can make both less stressed by software settings?
9. I have 1x SSD and 1x SATA so destinations of both discs is OS/OBS/GAMES/ for SSD and rest like programs that i`ll use from time to time and records on SATA disc (is it better to install OBS on SATA or games or sata maybe? Might it help :>? or should i go both os/obs/games on ssd? :>
10.Yeah its the last one how i should open chat on youtube to talk with my viewers i mean what explorer for performance?
For everyone really sorry for my english i was trying to type it as best as i can i hope any crazy user will reply to my questions <3
