OBS sends no sound to the default audio speaker

I'm a newbie.

I use OBS in order to send video and audio to zoom video conference. The problem is sending audio to zoom, as it is not possible in a direct way. In several forums I read, that the OBS sends the line-out audio always to the Windows default audio speaker. Then I have to set apps like "Voicemeeter" or "VB audio virtual cable" as the default speaker and must choose the application as a virtual "microphone" in zoom.

But it does not work - my OBS does not send any line-out audio neither to "Voicemeeter" nor to "VB audio virtual cable" nor to any other speaker, that was set to default! Only the monitor device runs, when switched-in.

I have checked this with my normal computer loudspeaker boxes, have set them to default audio speakers. Then I opend a OBS scene with a mp3 audio file. I run the scene, the mp3 file is running, the OBS Audio-Mixer shows a source named "sound" with a fidgeting green level meter. When I switch in "Monitor & Line-out" in the extended audio properties, I can hear the sound in the monitor device. But there comes no line-out sound - never, with any settings! On the other hand, the default device is playing properly any windows system sounds, for example the "plung..." when I change the volume. Though OBS is listed in the Windows audio mixer, but theres nothing in the level meter, when playing a sound with OBS.

Who can help me? Thank you so much..

I've always had a similar problem... Click on the audio settings for the audio input then turn off the audio monitor, click on, then turn it back on again.

Click on Advanced Audio Properties

Click on Audio Monitoring

Change to "Monitor Off" and click close..

Then go back on again and chanit it back to "Monitor and Output"

Hope this helps.
