Question / Help OBS sending out a black screen even though my preview window shows my sources

Hello...

So OBS has been working fine for me for the last year or so... right up until last week. I streamed one night... took a night off and didn't update anything to my MAC and on the next stream, OBS only sends out a BLACK screen to my streaming platforms. I have my normal desktop and simple overlay showing on my studio and everything looks good. It is just not going out to the platforms.

If you're in studio mode (2 preview screens) you need to press the transition button in the middle to move the scene to what is actually being streamed.

Then select the source that's not displaying in the preview and press ctrl+r (or command+r)
