Bug Report OBS Segfault when trying to start v4l2sink

I started obs in terminal to capture output, but it seems to be working until I try to start v4l2sink with video format YUV420. It was working until today, and I can't think of what I may have done. It could be the last update. But there is no output, just an immediate Segmentation fault. I get segfaults on other things intermittently, but this is persistent.

Note that the same happens on the latest build of 25.0.7-5 from git. It did not happen on 25.0.3.

I also tried compiling v4l2sink against this version of the OBS code. It still does the segfault, but interestingly only after it was stopped and restarted. From there on it segfaults.

This can potentially cause crash issues.

I am not a C developer, so any idea how I would fix that? I will try anything once

You need to change the plugin code as suggested in the PR and recompile the plugin.
