OBS seems to stop receiving audio after every couple weeks

Hi there. I’m hoping someone can help with a problem I’m having.
  • I’m using a computer running Windows 11
  • I’ve configured OBS to receive video and audio from a Mevo camera with external mics.
  • I’m using the Advanced Scene Switcher to start and stop streaming on a schedule.
  • Everything works fine, but every couple weeks, OBS seems to stop receiving audio. The audio source looks like it’s connected (I can see it listed in Sources andAudio Mixer), but the mixer doesn’t show the levels lighting up.
  • Rebooting OBS doesn’t solve the problem. I need to reboot the computer.
I’ve looked at the log files, but honestly, I have no idea what to look for (I've attached on from today, when I noticed no sound). Any thoughts about what could be happening?

Thanks in advance

If you need to restart your computer that would indicate an issue external to OBS....you can try having other software recording the same device (like Audacity) at the same time to see if this occurs elsewhere to confirm.
